Kelly O'Connor is an acclaimed elder care consultant, life coach for older adults, and captivating TEDx speaker. With a multifaceted approach, she empowers older adults to discover new purpose and meaning while embracing their elderhood. Additionally, Kelly's role with PMCC is to provide invaluable support to aging adults and their families in navigating the complexities and expanding care needs of older adults in the United States and abroad.

Before embarking on a heartfelt second career in the senior living industry over 15 years ago, Kelly worked as a Senior Living Placement Agent and a Move and Transitions Coordinator. Her extensive experience spans various domains, allowing her to assist and manage others in areas like independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, hospice, home care, senior living placement, and elder care consulting. Armed with a master's degree in Spiritual Psychology and a Professional Advancement Certification in Gerontology from the University of Colorado, she has established herself as a leader in her field.

Recognized for her expertise, Kelly is among the first Certified Placement and Referral Specialists nationwide, a Certified Senior Advisor, and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She was pivotal in developing the inaugural certification program for senior living placement agents nationwide. Her contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Young Professional in Aging award from the Colorado Gerontological Society in 2017, the Woman of the Year title from the Unsung Heroes Foundation in 2019, and recognition as a top dementia expert by Colorado Health and Wellness Magazine in 2020.

Kelly serves as the CSA Journal for Specialists in Aging editor, further cementing her commitment to advancing her field.
